Conference honors best direct marketing campaign

Many businesses find that by including a direct mail marketing campaign with an outreach strategy, more people can be informed of the products or services being offered. The best and brightest were recently honored at the Direct Marketing Association's 2011 Conference and Exhibition in Boston.

The DMA gave its Bronze Award to Gizzard after it was able to achieve success for its client, The Salvation Army Canada. The group was hailed for its "2010 Holiday Giving Campaign," which featured printed material send-outs

"I am very proud of the Canada Salvation Army team, as well as Grizzard's creative, media and account teams for winning this award," said Grizzard executive vice president Perry Moore, who heads The Salvation Army Account Team for the agency. "Congratulations to everyone involved with this incredible honor."

Other firms were honored for marketing efforts. Mogreet took home the organization's 2011 Innovation Award in the mobile marketing category. The winners were selected out a number of candidates.
