Custom Hang Tags: Foil Stamped, Embossed, and Die Cut for Every Brand

A hang tag is one of the smallest printed pieces a brand produces, yet it carries outsized influence on how customers perceive quality, authenticity, and value. The hang tag is often the first printed brand element a customer touches when picking up a product, and the materials, finish, and design of that tag immediately communicate whether this is a mass-market commodity or a carefully crafted brand worth remembering.

Corcoran Printing produces custom hang tags for retail, jewelry, apparel, food, beverage, and specialty product brands nationwide. As a 4th-generation family printing company with more than 85 years of expertise, we create hang tags that function as miniature brand ambassadors, delivering a tactile, visual brand statement on every product they accompany.

Finishing Options for Custom Hang Tags

The finishing treatment you choose for your hang tags determines how premium they look and feel. Corcoran Printing offers the full spectrum of specialty finishing options on custom hang tags.

Foil stamping options include metallic foils (gold, silver, copper, rose gold), holographic foils, matte foils, gloss pigment foils, and specialty foils (marble, leather, woodgrain, pearl). Embossing and debossing add three-dimensional texture and depth, while blind embossing creates an understated, elegant effect without foil or ink. Combination foil and emboss treatments produce raised, reflective elements with maximum visual and tactile impact.

Custom die cutting allows hang tags to be produced in any shape beyond standard rectangles. Circles, ovals, custom brand silhouettes, scalloped edges, and contour shapes are all achievable with die cutting.
