Wilkes Barre, PA (Nov. 19, 2010) – Corcoran Printing recently donated 250 of their newly designed full color 2011 Pet Lovers Calendar to the non-profit Luzerne County SPCA. The calendars, which have an approximate value of $2,500 feature a wide range of customers’ and employees’ pets. The calendars will be for sale at the SPCA to benefit the shelter and its animals.
Corcoran Printing’s graphic designer James Luft, who has two dogs of his own, took pride in the design. The company decided to use the “pet theme” to better engage its customers and employees.
The company utilized its Facebook Fan Page to advertise the idea for the Pet Calendar. Fans were able to upload photos either by email, or ftp. During the design process the company shared some of the photos in an album on the Fan page. Each year, Corcoran Printing produces a 22×17 full color desk calendar which is distributed to customers.
The company will continue to engage customers and employees in the future in the creation of the annual desk calendar.
