Some of the leading minds in marketing today are putting a renewed emphasis on getting quality leads rather than just acquiring as many as possible.
In a recent release, Live Marketing direct managing director Tom Harris writes that by implementing a sales process effectiveness strategy, businesses could increase profit margins and better engage with a wider audience. He says hat getting the best new clients took hard work.
“A critical area of sales is not only the acquisition of new leads, customers, or contracts… it is also the quality of those leads, customers and contracts,” he writes. “Too many companies are running their sales forces based on numbers which do not reflect the bottom line. I was always taught to look at profit margins, not the number of sales coming through the door.”
