Webinar discusses web-to-print strategy

One of the most prominent ways that businesses have been able to leverage the latest in printing technology is through the use of web-to-print services. Some of the most reputable companies in the world have been able to jump on the bandwagon and increase profits as adoption has become more widespread.

Digital Nirvana reports that during a recent webinar hosted by Sprint and Weber Associates and moderated by Barb Pellow, the topic of web-enabled supply management was discussed. According to Mark Rexroat, director of retail communications and marketing services at Sprint, one of the most important things when it came to an effective web-to-print strategy is giving a level of independence to partners.

"We used the carrot and the stick approach," he said. "We made the tools as friendly as possible, but we also cut off the asset distribution through other channels because, at some points in time, we had upwards of five to eight different libraries of sales and marketing information."

Companies using web-to-print services must try to streamline approaches as much as possible. By using the most up-to-date tools, firms will be able to better compete with others in its sector.
