MetroAction launches brochure printing initiative with $1,500 grant

MetroAction is the most recent recipient of a $1,500 grant from the PPL Blue Ribbon Marketing Partnership. The nonprofit organization, which offers small business loans and training, will use the capital to launch a brochure printing campaign outlining its financing, training and counseling services. This will complement its marketing program and will offer information on its programs in one piece of literature.

"Too often, entrepreneurs become overwhelmed with volumes of information when they are starting or expanding their small businesses," Christina Hitchcock, Business Development Administrator for MetroAction.

"By organizing the information into one document, MetroAction will simplify this process and get the appropriate information in the hands of those who need it most," she added.

Creating a brochure is an effective way for a company to conveniently showcase its services and products, without going over-budget. Printed materials are relatively inexpensive to create and do not take a long time to print or ship, therefore many small businesses leverage these this type of print marketing material.
