The Inc. 5,000 is ranked according to percentage of growth from 2004 through 2007. Corcoran Printing was listed as the 13th fastest growing manufacturing company in PA, with revenue growth of 62% during that time.

Corcoran Printing Receives International Printing Recognition
Corcoran Printing Inc. of Wilkes Barre PA was recently awarded Grand Prize in the Matrix Modern Classic Excellence in Printing Contest. The award was co-sponsored by xpedx and Stora Enso, two international paper companies.

"The contest offered printers an opportunity to showcase their classic print projects utilizing Matrix gloss and silk papers," said Dennis Field, Regional Manager, Stora Enso.

As the first ever North American/Northeast regional winner, Bill Corcoran, president of Corcoran Printing, was awarded an all-expenses paid trip to Sweden and Finland to tour the Stora Enso paper mill in Oulu, Finland and to accept the award. The tour was hosted by Stora Enso.

Corcoran Printing was awarded the Grand Prize for the printing of Spirit of Light, a full color book featuring the artwork of Sr. Cor Immaculatum Heffernan, I.H.M., Professor of Art at Marywood University. The high quality 72 page art reproduction was produced utilizing a Heidelberg 5-color press. The cover included both gold foil stamping and blind embossing, which gave it a true coffee table book appeal.

"The winning piece printed by Corcoran Printing was selected from an impressive array of entries submitted by somes of the finest printers across the country," Field said. "The Spirit of Light project truly stood out from the other entries for the exceptional quality apparent in both printing and design. It was an ideal way in which to showcase the Matrix silk paper on which it was printed."
"Great photography, talented design by Hybrid Studios, and the expertise and commitment of the Corcoran Printing pre-press and press teams, all contributed to the winning end product," said Bill Corcoran.
