Forestry Chain of Custody

One of Corcoran Printing's most important achievements is Certification with the Forest Stewardship Council and the Sustainable Forest Initiative. We are committed to adhering to the Chain of Custody of the world's forests. Certification means that we are buying wood and paper products from well-managed forests, backed by a rigorous, third-party certification audit.

	Chain of Custody practices are in place throughout our shop. We received full certification in February of 2010. Corcoran Printing is proud to promote the responsible management of the world's forests. When you buy printing with the FSC or SFI label, you can be sure you are providing incentives for responsible forestry.
You can enjoy your purchases knowing it has not contributed to the destruction of the world’s forest or even come from companies involved in human rights abuses.

The Chain of Custody certification is a strict tracking system of FSC certified material through the production process - from the forest to the consumer, including all successive stages of processing, transformation, manufacturing and distribution.

Only FSC CoC certified operations are allowed to label products with the FSC trademarks. The FSC label thus provides the link between responsible production and consumption.
